Commissions
I write original music for games, films, and other interactive projects -- everything from short chiptune loops to full orchestral pieces. Below is a starting point for pricing and how the process works. Every project's a little different, so treat these as a guide going into a conversation, not a fixed menu.
Pricing
Rates are per finished minute of music. Every commission has a $50 minimum, regardless of length.
Loop / Short Cue
$50–75/min
15–60 second seamless, game-ready loops. Menu themes, ambient beds, jam-game cues.
Standard Track
$85–125/min
A fully mixed, ready-to-use original track, 1–3 minutes. My most common commission.
Orchestral / Narrative Piece
$100–150/min
Multi-instrument, story-driven work in the style of the Dear Clarent Songbook.
Full Game OST

Multiple tracks for a full project. We scope it together and I'll quote a bundled rate.
Loopable / Game-Ready Music
If you need music that loops seamlessly for a game, stream, or video, just say so up front -- I'll build the loop point into the composition itself rather than bolting it on afterward, so it holds up in-engine.
Passion Projects
Every so often I'll take on a project at a reduced rate or for free -- but only when it's a fair trade both ways. That usually means real creative freedom, prominent credit, or a genuine opportunity: a shipped game, meaningful exposure, an industry connection. If that sounds like your project, pitch me on the project first, not just the fact that you can't pay full price -- I'm a lot more likely to say yes to something I'm excited about.
How It Works
- Inquire. Reach out with what you need, references if you have them, and rough length.
- Quote. I'll send a price and timeline based on scope.
- Deposit. 50% upfront once we agree on the brief.
- Rough draft. You'll get a draft to react to before I polish anything.
- Revisions. Up to 2 rounds are included.
- Final delivery. Remaining 50% due, then you get the finished, mixed track.
Terms
- Revisions: 2 rounds included. Major changes in direction, or extra length beyond what was quoted, may adjust the price -- I'll always tell you before doing any extra work.
- Payment: 50% deposit after we agree on the brief, 50% on final delivery. Work doesn't start until the deposit's in.
- Turnaround: Typically 1–3 weeks depending on scope and my current queue. Need it sooner? Ask about rush pricing.
- Usage rights: You get full use of the track for your project, videos, and streams. If it's ever uploaded to streaming platforms or used in something being sold, it needs to credit me (JaidenTfs) and official uploads go through me.
- Originality: Commissions are original pieces inspired by whatever references you give me, not copies of existing work.
- Cancellation: If you need to cancel partway through, the deposit covers the work already done and isn't refundable once a draft's been delivered.
This is a working set of terms, not a substitute for a lawyer -- for bigger or higher-stakes projects it's worth having any agreement reviewed properly.
